“Character Towns” of Central Florida: Report #1, The Workshop describes the purpose and processes of the quarterly workshop and its members. Report #1 discusses features of the ten character towns and the format of the Workshop as the ten towns plus others come together to discuss issues of common interest with an emphasis on enticing private investment and development in their respective towns. The towns are: DeLand, Sanford, Lake Mary, Eustis, Tavares, Mount Dora, Clermont, Winter Garden, Winter Park and Kissimmee. Each, in their own way, a “character town.”
