Libraries are one of the essential building blocks for the social, educational and cultural features of a town with character. General libraries are great; specialty libraries built on a unique feature of the town enhance its civic presence.
Specialty Libraries.
Public libraries have been presented as places that provide a wide range of community, entrepreneurial and economic development services to a wide range of people.
Specialty libraries are a bit different. While generally open to the public, many are “members only”. A more distinguishing feature is the focus of the library’s materials and educational programs.
